When it comes to nice place for sightseeing and how to hide out from the crowded city, I recommend that you should go to Con Son Island (an Island of Vietnam). Con Dao Islands are an archipelago of Bà Rịa–Vũng Tàu Province.
This is a land of history. Once I put my first step into this land, the first emotion is feeling thankful to the ancestors for fighting in the old days to have the peaceful island today. It used to be called “Hell on earth” in the war existed over 100 years (from 1862-30/04/1975). Con Dao is the witness for the sacrifice of more than 20,000 outstanding people in those days.
Since we came here in the afternoon, we decided to spend the rest of day to take a break, prepare stuffs, especially have a bath and go around to look for something to eat. In the evening, we would visit to Hang Duong graveyard to tribute sacrifice soldiers. Hence, we would wake up earlier in the morning of the next day to discover more about Con Dao.
Firstly, we visited Con Dao museum. We followed the lady MC and listen to the history of Con Dao from her. We went thru total 5 prisons and got a lot knowledge about the land of history. Farewell museum, secondly we drove motorbike to the seashore and played with each others, not forgot to take bunch of nice shot. We didn’t have enough time to go swimming on the beach. It was quite regret, but we will come back once again.
“I love you” Flower in sky
During the time of travelling, our spirit and body are one with the nature. It’s very good moment for us to stay in slow motion for while before going to continue on further steps. We also have chance to visit another small island near there. After going thru the mangroves and we can see the sea turtles net near the seashore and the house to conserve turtle eggs.
Finally, I spent last day for painting in the early morning. While my friends went to another seashore to take more picture, I went to the beach where has a lot of stones in the front to put down my materials and started to paint. I already found this yesterday afternoon, hence it didn’t take much time to go around to check for another place.
We will miss those flowers and landscape 🙂
And this road…
